William A. Lapp is a first cousin of William H. Lapp Sr. (Anna's husband, my great-grandfather). He was born in April of 1865 and married in 1890. In 1900 he and his wife Hattie were living in Stephentown with five children: Vernon (1891), Roy (1893), Addison (1895), Lillian A. (1898) and Gerald E. (1900), none of whom are pictured in the album, as far as I know. He died in 1935 and is buried in Garfield Cemetery in Stephentown.
Gertrude is Anna's niece, the daughter of her brother John. She was born in the fall of 1916, so these photos were taken in 1922 or 1923. She had an older brother Frank.
According to my mom, Mark Nichols was a family friend. A building appears to have collapsed behind him and his dog in this picture, but they seem serenely unconcerned about it.
